Eddies Selfcatering B&B is an idealy situated hiking accommodation in Clarens, the Freestate which can also offer guided hikes.

While you lodge with Eddies Selfcatering B&B you will be able to enjoy a two hour walk where you will summit one of the local mountains and enjoy the unspoiled beauty surrounding Clarens. If your fitness level allows for it, you may also partake in the trail guided hikes to the top of Mount Horeb and enjoy unsurpassable and breathtaking views of Clarens, Golden Gate National Park, the well-known Maluti Mountains of Lesotho, and the Drakensberg peaks in Qwa Qwa from a distance.

Spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and ample opportunity to relax are more characteristics of Eddies, ensuring that we have become the preferred resort for hiking accommodation at Clarens in the Northern Free State.

Mountain Walks: (Guided by Eddie’s Self-Catering / B&B Owner)

• One day walks to the Drakensberg
• 2-4 Hour walks where local mountains are summitted
• Two day walk at the Katse dam in Lesotho
• One day walk where local mountains are summited
• One day walk in the Afri-Ski Resort in Lesotho
